Joining through a link

Promoters can send you a sign-up link for one of their events. Open it in your browser, fill in the form, and you're on their fighter list — no app needed to get started. You download the app afterwards to share your ticket link and get paid.

1. Get the link from your promoter

Ask your promoter to send you their fighter sign-up link. It looks like shwdwn.co/fighters?promotion=… and usually arrives over WhatsApp, text, or Instagram.

Open it in any browser, on your phone or a computer. If the link is for a specific event, signing up puts you straight onto that event's fighter list — you don't have to accept anything afterwards.

2. Enter your information in the forms

  1. Sign in. Enter your email and we'll send you a sign-in code, or continue with Google or Apple. Use an email you'll keep access to — it's the same account you'll sign in with on the app.
  2. Accept the fighter terms. Read them and tap through to continue.
  3. Your fighter details. Full name, phone number, and weight class. Promoters use these to match you to bouts, so put down the weight you actually fight at.
  4. Profile photo. You can skip it for now, but you'll need one before you can accept a bout — it goes on the fight card and the event page.
  5. You'll land on a confirmation screen telling you you're registered for the event.

3. Download the app

The confirmation screen has the download buttons, or get it directly from the App Store or Google Play. Everything after sign-up — fight requests, ticket sales, payouts — happens in the app.

4. Sign in on the app

Open the app and sign in with the same email you used on the form. If you sign up with a different email you'll get a second, empty account and your promoter won't see you on it.

5. Once you're in the app

  1. Go to your fighter profile. Open the Profile tab, scroll to Your roles, and tap Fighter. That switches you into the fighter portal — your profile is already there from the form.
  2. See your events on the home page. The event you joined shows up marked Accepted, with vs Opponent TBA until the promoter matches you up. Any other show a promoter invites you to appears here too, with Accept and Decline.
  3. Share your link. Tap Share sales link to send your ticket link, QR code to show one fans can scan in person, or Share as post for a ready-made image for your story. You don't need an opponent first — the link works from the moment you're on the show. Every ticket bought through it is attributed to you, and the sales show up on your home screen.

Home also shows a Tasks remaining card. Two of them matter most: a profile photo (required before you can accept bouts) and payout setup (required before you can get paid).

Next step: Before you can get paid for ticket sales, you need a profile photo and to set up payments via Stripe in the app.
