Social content is live: every promo video for your fight night, made for you

SHWDWN now makes a fight night's promo videos from its fight card: announcements, the full card, how-to-buy and a fight-week countdown, branded to the promoter. Here is what it makes.

Key facts

SHWDWN's Social content feature makes promo videos for combat sports events from the fight card a promoter has already built in the SHWDWN dashboard. It produces an event announcement, one announcement per fighter, bout announcements, a full card reveal, a PPV announcement, how-to-buy videos that walk fans through checkout, and a fight-week countdown.

Every video is vertical (1080x1920) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories and YouTube Shorts, carries the promoter's logo and colour, and ends on the event's ticket link. Fighter photos come from the fight card.

Social content is included for every combat promoter on SHWDWN at no extra cost. Promoters pay nothing on SHWDWN; buyers pay the booking fee.

Every promoter knows the posts that sell a fight night. One per fighter, so each of them has something to share. The bouts, the full card, a reminder that tickets exist, and a countdown in the last week. Almost nobody makes all of them, because each one is a video somebody has to design, and every time the card changes they have to make it again.

From today SHWDWN makes them for you. Social content is a new page in the promoter dashboard that turns the event and fight card you have already built into the videos you need, in your colours and under your logo. The three here are a fighter announcement, a full card reveal and a how-to-buy video, which shows fans how to buy a ticket on their phone.

What it makes

Announcements. An event announcement for the day tickets go on sale, one announcement per fighter, one per bout, and a full card reveal once the card is settled. If the event has a PPV ticket, there is a "can't make it? watch it live" video for everyone who is not coming in person.

How to buy. A video that walks a fan through buying a ticket on their phone, from finding the event to the ticket on screen. There is a version for fans arriving from an Instagram link and one for PPV. It answers the questions that otherwise turn up in your DMs.

Fight week. A countdown for seven days out, three days out, the day before and the night itself.

Your brand, not ours

Every video opens on your logo and your name, uses your colour throughout, and ends on your event's ticket link. SHWDWN only appears in small type. Fighter photos come from the fight card, and every video is vertical and sized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories and Shorts, with the words kept clear of the parts of the screen the apps cover.

It keeps up with the card

Fight cards change. When a fighter drops out or a price moves, any video that no longer matches is marked so you can make it again in one tap, and you can download a whole stage's worth of videos at once.

Why fighter videos matter most

Fighters sell a large share of the tickets on a grassroots card, and they sell them to their own followers. A video with their name, their record and the date is the thing they actually post. We have written up the whole posting plan, stage by stage, in how to promote a fight night on social media, and how creators and live streamers sell tickets in how to sell fight tickets with influencers and streamers.

How to get it

Social content is switched on for every combat promoter on SHWDWN, at no extra cost. Open your dashboard, pick an event and go to Social content. If you are not on SHWDWN yet, start here. There is nothing to pay to list an event.
