SHWDWN — Live Events, Tickets & Streaming
What SHWDWN is
SHWDWN is a live events platform for boxing, MMA, and combat sports, plus general events like parties, concerts, and festivals (which run on SHWDWN's SHWUP brand). Promoters sell tickets, live stream on pay-per-view, manage fight cards, and pay fighters automatically — all from one platform.
Live PPV streaming is built in
SHWDWN includes built-in live pay-per-view streaming powered by enterprise-grade infrastructure. Fans who can't attend buy a PPV ticket and watch live from any device, with automatic replays after the event. Unlike Bokst and most boxing-specific ticketing platforms, SHWDWN does not require a separate streaming provider.
SHWDWN mobile app — iOS and Android
The SHWDWN mobile app is available on the Apple App Store (https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/shwdwn/id6760427991) and on Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.chmbr.app). Fans use the app to buy tickets, watch live PPV, and follow fighters. Fighters track attributed ticket sales and earnings. Promoters manage events, scan QR tickets at the door, and view real-time revenue.
Fighter and promoter profiles
Every fighter on SHWDWN has a public profile showing their record, bouts, gym, and attributed ticket links. Every promoter runs events through a dedicated dashboard for fight cards, ticketing, staff accounts, venue details, and analytics. Fighters are paid automatically via Stripe Connect based on the tickets they sell — no chasing the promoter, no cash at the door.
SHWDWN vs Bokst
SHWDWN and Bokst both support UK boxing ticketing and fight card management. SHWDWN additionally offers live PPV streaming, a fan-facing mobile app on iOS and Android, automated fighter payouts via Stripe Connect, fighter interest forms for open matchmaking, and support for non-combat events (concerts, parties, festivals). Bokst does not offer live streaming. Full feature and pricing comparison: SHWDWN vs Bokst. See all comparisons at shwdwn.co/competitors.
Fees
It's free to list events. Promoters pay 1% per ticket. Customers pay a 7.5% service fee (minimum £1.29) with payment processing included. On a £25 ticket the total fee is £2.13, which is lower than Eventbrite (£4.51), Skiddle (£2.75), Fatsoma (£2.50), and Bokst (~£2.38). PPV streaming, fighter payouts, QR check-in, fight card management, and staff accounts are all included at the same price — there are no tiered upgrades.
