​They say a lot can happen in seven years. Seven years ago was the last time I wrapped my hands with the intent to fight. Back then, life looked a lot different. Over the years, the "fighter" version of me started to fade. I swapped the gym for the grind of daily life, and slowly, the weight started to climb. Eventually, I was 24kg heavier and a world away from the ring. ​I’d tell myself: “I’ll get back to it when I’m fitter,” or “Maybe next year.” But we all know "next year" usually means "never. But I’m not done yet. The rust is off, the fire is back, and I am officially pumped up and ready for my next fight. I’ve missed this life, and I’m just getting started
