Aguanile Salsa Festival is a London-based cultural platform dedicated to authentic salsa, vinyl sound, and the preservation of Latin music heritage. We curate events that bring together melómanos, collectors, live bands, and DJs who respect the roots of salsa brava, guaguancó, and Latin soul. Our mission is to create spaces where sound quality, musical selection, and cultural identity come first, connecting generations through vinyl, live performance, and community. From open-deck encuentros to full-scale festivals, Aguanile is built for those who understand the music. Melómanos and Salsa Collectors Our Melómanos and Salsa Collectors segment serves as a living archive of salsa in its original form. Focused on vinyl-only selections, this space is dedicated to those who preserve, study, and share the history of salsa brava, guaguancó, and classic Latin recordings. Each session honours the culture through careful curation, deep cuts, and respect for the roots of the music. This is not background music. It is musical heritage in motion. Salsa Lessons Our dance programme features elite-level instruction led by Yudi Aguilar, 6x World Champion. These sessions are designed for serious dancers who want to refine technique, musicality, and performance quality while staying connected to authentic salsa foundations. We focus on precision, discipline, and cultural understanding. Live Bands Aguanile showcases internationally respected musicians, including artists such as Doranze Lorza. Our live programme highlights real instrumentation, live percussion, and the powerful energy that defines salsa in its truest form. We prioritise bands that understand the tradition and deliver music with fuerza, swing, and authenticity. Cultural Collaborations Aguanile collaborates with leading salsa promoters and cultural events across London. Our goal is to strengthen the salsa ecosystem rather than compete within it. By working alongside established institutions, collectors, musicians, and dance communities, we contribute to a united and thriving salsa culture in the city.
