Champs Within bring their first show to SHWDWN

Champs Within is the latest grassroots boxing operation to set up a promoter account on SHWDWN. The Brixton-based club runs adult and kids classes, mentoring sessions, and a non-contact boxing programme inside London schools and youth clubs — and from this summer, their fight nights run on SHWDWN too.

Their first show is booked for 20 June 2026 at Miguels Boxing & Fitness Gym on Hardess Street, a five-minute walk from Champs Within’s home in Brixton. Doors are 3pm, with the card running through to 10pm. Tickets are £30 general admission, on sale now through the SHWDWN app and the event page.

Champs Within was built around a simple idea: boxing as a way to teach discipline, consistency, and resilience to young people who don’t always get those tools elsewhere. Alongside the club, the team runs Champion Us CIC, a community interest company that takes the same curriculum into schools through their non-contact programme. Putting on a public show is the next layer of that work — fans in the room, fighters from the club on the card, and the community Champs Within has been quietly building over the past few years finally on full display.
