Live streaming Beta

Stream your events live to fans who've purchased PPV access. SHWDWN handles the infrastructure — you just need streaming software like OBS.

Setting up your stream

  1. Open your event from the dashboard and go to the Streaming tab.
  2. You'll see your stream credentials:
    • RTMP Server — the server URL to paste into your streaming software
    • Stream Key — your unique key (keep this private)
  3. Open OBS (or your preferred streaming software), go to Settings → Stream, select "Custom", and paste the RTMP server URL and stream key.
  4. Click "Start Streaming" in OBS. The Streaming tab on SHWDWN will update to show your stream status in real-time.

Stream statuses

  • Ready — stream is set up but not receiving video yet
  • Connected — your streaming software has connected to the server
  • Live — you're broadcasting and fans can watch
  • Disconnected — the stream was interrupted (check your connection)
  • Ended — the stream has been stopped

Automatic recordings

Every stream is automatically recorded. Once the stream ends, the recording is processed and available as a replay on the event page. You don't need to do anything — it happens automatically.

PPV access

Only fans who've purchased a PPV ticket can watch the live stream. The event page shows a locked state for non-purchasers with a prompt to buy PPV access.

Tip: Test your stream setup before fight night. You can start and stop the stream as many times as you need while the event is in draft — it won't be visible to fans until the event is published and you go live.
