Setting up payments

To receive payouts from ticket sales attributed to you, you need to complete Stripe's identity verification. This is a one-time setup.

Steps

  1. From the fighter portal, go to your Profile screen.
  2. Under Payments, tap Set up payments.
  3. You'll be taken to Stripe's hosted verification flow. Fill in your details:
    • Legal name and date of birth
    • Address
    • A form of ID (passport, driving licence, etc.)
    • Bank account details for payouts
  4. Complete the form and you'll be returned to the SHWDWN app. Your payment status will update to Payout setup complete.

How payouts work

Payouts are managed by your promotion, not by SHWDWN directly. When fans buy tickets through your unique link, those sales are attributed to you. After the event is completed, the promoter reviews and approves your payout. The funds are sent to your Stripe account.

Important: You can't receive payouts until payment setup is complete. Set this up as soon as you create your fighter profile — don't wait until after the event.
