My Story If you ask me where I came from, I could give you the simple answer. NextGenHub. But the truth is, my story started long before I ever walked through those gym doors. I came from a rough background. I made stupid decisions, went down paths I’m not proud of and, at times, I didn’t really know what I was doing with my life. I wasn’t some kid who had everything figured out and decided one day that boxing sounded cool. I needed something. Then I found boxing. And boxing gave me somewhere to put everything. The anger. The frustration. The mistakes. The doubt. The hunger to become somebody different. Walking into NextGenHub changed things for me. I found a community full of go getters, grafters and hustlers. People who turn up when they don’t feel like it. People who work when nobody is watching. Everyone there has the same mentality one goal, get better and become great. That environment brought something out of me. I started betting on myself. Not because I knew I was guaranteed to make it. Not because someone promised me I would become a champion. I bet on myself because I knew that if I was willing to work harder than the person next to me, keep turning up and refuse to quit, then I at least owed myself the chance to find out how far I could go. That mentality became my style. I’m a front-foot, aggressive fighter. I like pressure. I like walking people down, making them uncomfortable and forcing them to fight at my pace. When that bell goes, I want to bring everything I’ve built inside the gym with me. But there’s a reason I fight like that. Because I know what it feels like to be backed into a corner outside the ring. I know what it feels like to have life going against you. So when I step between those ropes, I don’t just see another fight. I see another opportunity to prove that where you come from doesn’t have to determine where you end up. I’m still writing my story. I’m still learning. I’m still making mistakes. I’m still improving. But one thing has changed. I believe in myself now. And I’m willing to bet everything on what I can become. So when people watch me fight, I want them to see more than just punches. I want them to see the kid who could’ve gone down the wrong path and chose to fight his way onto the right one. This is where I came from. This is who I became. And this is only the beginning.
