SHWDWN vs Blue6
Blue6 is UK fight-night and gym-management software built around matchmaking and event admin: interclub entries from multiple gyms, smart matchmaking, automated bout sheets, weigh-in tracking, digital waivers, live scorecards and bout outcomes, plus a separate Club Manager product for memberships and classes. It is genuinely good at the paperwork side of a card, and if your problem is "six gyms are sending me boxers on WhatsApp", that is what it is for. SHWDWN solves the other half. Blue6's ticketing is a public event page where spectators reserve and pay; SHWDWN is a ticketing and payouts platform with a fight card attached, so every fighter gets their own sales link, ticket sales are attributed to the fighter who sold them, and fighter purses pay out automatically through Stripe. On top of that SHWDWN adds built-in PPV live streaming, checkout upsells for merch and parking, QR check-in, a fan app on iOS and Android, an embed for your own website, and non-combat events through SHWUP. Blue6 charges the promoter per event; SHWDWN charges the promoter nothing.

What Blue6 doesn't do
- No per-fighter sales links — ticketing is a public event page, so who sold what is yours to reconcile
- No automated fighter payouts — purses are settled outside the platform
- No PPV or live streaming — fans who cannot attend in person cannot buy in at all
- The promoter pays per event (£50–£99) instead of nothing
- No checkout upsells — cannot sell merch, parking, or add-ons alongside the ticket
- No fan app on iOS or Android
- No support for non-combat events — martial arts only (SHWDWN does both, via SHWUP)
Who is Blue6 for?
UK martial arts clubs and promoters running interclub and multi-gym cards, and gyms that also want membership and class management
If you need more than just ticketing — PPV streaming, checkout upsells for merch and parking, fighter management, customer retention, and a dedicated app for your fans — SHWDWN is built for that, at shows of any size.
SHWDWN vs Blue6 — FAQs
What is the difference between SHWDWN and Blue6?
They solve different halves of a fight night. Blue6 is matchmaking and event administration: multiple gyms submit boxers, you build the card, and it generates bout sheets, weigh-in lists, digital waivers and live scorecards. SHWDWN is a ticketing and payouts platform with a fight card attached: every fighter gets their own sales link, each ticket is attributed to the fighter who sold it, and purses pay out automatically through Stripe. SHWDWN also has built-in PPV live streaming, checkout upsells for merch and parking, QR check-in, a fan app on iOS and Android, an embed for your own website, and non-combat events through SHWUP. Blue6 has none of those. Waivers, weigh-in tracking and deeper interclub matchmaking are coming soon to SHWDWN.
Does Blue6 track which fighter sold which ticket?
No. Blue6 ticketing is a public event page where spectators book a place, so the question of which fighter drove which sale is left to you to reconcile afterwards. On SHWDWN this is the core of the product: each fighter has a personal sales link, the promoter sees a live per-fighter sales breakdown, and fighter payouts are calculated from those attributed sales and paid out through Stripe without a spreadsheet.
How much do SHWDWN and Blue6 cost for a 1,000-capacity show?
On SHWDWN the promoter pays nothing. There is no subscription, no per-event fee, and no cut of your ticket revenue. Buyers pay a 7.5% service fee with a £2 minimum, and card processing is included in that, so there is no separate Stripe bill. On a £25 ticket the buyer fee is £2.00. Blue6 charges the promoter per event: their pricing page says £50 per Event Pass and their homepage says £99 per event, with the first event free for six months. Their ticketing and payment-processing fees are unclear, so budget for card processing on top. Gym management is a separate Blue6 subscription at £40 a month plus £1 per member per month.
Which is better for an interclub or multi-gym card?
Blue6 is built around the matchmaking paperwork: other gyms log in to submit boxers to your event, and it generates bout sheets, weigh-in lists and rulesets per bout from that. SHWDWN today gives you a fight card builder and fighter interest forms, with multi-gym submission and weight-class matchmaking coming soon. Where SHWDWN is already ahead is everything after the card is set: every fighter gets their own sales link, tickets are attributed to whoever sold them, and purses pay out automatically through Stripe.
Does SHWDWN handle medical waivers, weigh-ins, or fighter medicals?
Digital waivers, weigh-in tracking and medical clearances are coming soon to SHWDWN. Until they land, promoters on SHWDWN handle those alongside their sanctioning body. What SHWDWN handles today is everything from the ticket outwards: fighter sales links and attribution, automated fighter payouts, PPV streaming, checkout upsells, QR check-in on the door, and the promoter dashboard that ties the money together.
Can I use SHWDWN and Blue6 together?
Yes, and for some promoters that is the sensible answer. Run matchmaking, waivers and bout sheets wherever they work best for you, and sell the tickets on SHWDWN so fighters get their own sales links, sales are attributed automatically, and purses pay out through Stripe. SHWDWN costs the promoter nothing, so running it alongside another tool does not add a bill. You can also paste the SHWDWN ticket box into your own promotion website with two lines of HTML, so your fans never need to know which tools sit behind it.
